We finally understand why Computers are never working as they should.

A comment in Kröners blog suggests that the only way out of this dilemma would be writing all projects twice: first a quick dirty hack to get this thing to work, and then a second time, with special advertency to good design.
This is becuz you only know HOW to do it when you DID IT.

This sounds like a plan, but as people are lazy (especially programmers are) most of the projects will be released as a dirty hack then. ("y shall we reimplement it? it works! well, at least sometimes!")

I said it once and I'll say it again: All Software suxx.

Combine the facts with extreme-programming and you have to triple the number of your employees. In fact this approach takes part in some companies. I'm in one of them. We have prototype phases where code is generated that is completely rewritten after the results were okay and usable. BUT often we have some rapid prototyping projects where one person creates a prototype quickly and others will program the final code - a mostly at the same time. Well... sometimes - after the prototype, it turns out that the whole program is not needed anymore.

From my point of view, the best code is generated by SCRUM projects. Take a look at this: http://www.controlchaos.com/about/xp.php And beside that fact it's a lot more fun to code with SCRUM than with the whole management overhead.
